Not far away, the golf course of Sperone is reputed for its magnificent course by the Mediterranean.

Golfers sometimes have to drive the ball over the water.

Directions : On the South point of the Island of Corsica, and south east of Bonifacio. 25km from Figari, south Corsica airport.

The Golf course was cerated in 1990. It was laid out by a famous American architect Robert Trent Jones.

Of the 18 holes of the course, in detail: the new first nine holes are inland, and the last nine border the Mediterranean coast.

There are two holes worth noting, the first one being hole number 11.
Golfers have the impression that with strong drive, the ball is going to fall in the Mediterranean.

Because of the 16th hole, seasoned golfers call Sperone the “Pebble Beach” of Europe; of course referring to the infamous California golf course.
